We look for a Project Lead in Manufacturing Engineering (m/w/d)
Location: Schrems or Vienna, Austria
Responsibility for all Manufacturing Engineering/Operations related projects/task for the product group RCD and RCBO.

What you’ll do:- Participation in the creation of business plans and the planning of new production facilities
- Support and coordinate manufacturing technology and manufacturing processes within our footprint
- Support the definition of the operational strategy. Provide and drive the manufacturing and technology roadmap by managing tools, machinery and test equipment for the manufacturing footprint.
- Educate, train and prepare the plant manufacturing engineering teams in regards to technological and process requirements.
- Support the standardized work definition in the plants as well the work place design under the consideration of ergonomical, MESH and lean requirements.
- Team member in NPD-projects. Manage the work packages for the industrialization, carry out the Manufacturing Strategy Assessment and define the manufacturing footprint. Track the process execution in the plants.
- Supports the plants during the startup phase of new products, relocations or implementing of new technologies.
- Assure together with the local manufacturing engineering team the required production improvements.
- Management or participation in standard transition projects (phase in/phase out) and cost out projects with result accountability. Executes and reports project relevant cost out targets. Responsibility, authority and accountability for project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
- Operations support for APAC and Americas region in relation to IEC-products and definition of cost optimized product allocations across all regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC)
- Manages manufacturing documentation for the manufacturing footprint
- Drive the automation and Industry 4.0 (digitalization) development and implementation
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in R&D and production environment (welding, soldering, lubrication, coating and annealing) in the electrical industrial field
- Good experience with electrical components (circuit breakers, RCD, RCBO, etc) - technical drawings, SAP Bill of material, Routings and Costing Runs, etc.
- Technicalstudies(technician or bachelor) in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Planning from cost out projects; documentation changes management in the production
- Fluent in written and oral English, German would be a plus
Skills:
- Digitalization and automation project management experience would be a plus
