Our growing company is currently looking to hire a Labourer to join our Maintenance team based out of Beaverlodge, AB. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to be a self-motivated team player with a can-do attitude and looks forward to growing personally and professionally with CDN.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company environmental, heath, and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other Journeyman and Apprentices.
- Assist with calibrations and installations.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment and specialty tools.
- Handle basic Instrumentation Test Equipment.
- Repair equipment, with follow-up guidance from the Journeyman if required.
- Complete general labour duties.
- Other related duties as required.
- Available to work overtime if needed
- Task focused
- Strong & effective communication skills are required
- A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment
- Must be able to take direction, work in a team environment or independently
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in physically challenging conditions
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and demonstrate leadership skills
